Top 5 best Role-playing games

The best role-playing games are those that allow you to create your own story. In this list, we’ve highlighted some of the best RPGs from the past decade or so that offer players plenty of options for character customization and storytelling freedom. It’s up to you as the player to decide how your character progresses through each game’s world, with different choices leading to completely different outcomes.

Divinity 2: Ego Draconis

Divinity 2: Ego Draconis is a role-playing video game developed by Larian Studios, released in 2009. It is the sequel to Divinity: Original Sin.

The game takes place in Rivellon, where the player assumes the role of an assassin who must travel to different regions and complete quests or side-quests in order to progress through the story. During these quests, players can collect items such as armor or weapons; however some of these items will become unavailable after certain points in time (e.g., if you don’t get your hands on them before they’re stolen).

Planescape Torment

Planescape: Torment is a classic RPG with a good story, memorable characters and a combat system that leaves you feeling like you have more control over the outcome of your battles. The game also does an excellent job of making your choices matter.

The dialogue options in Planescape: Torment are some of my favorite parts about this game because they give the player freedom to say whatever they want without being punished for it by either pushing them towards an ending or locking out certain quests from being completed if certain dialogues aren’t chosen during conversation sequences.

Mass Effect 2

Mass Effect 2 is a science fiction action role-playing video game developed by BioWare and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It was released for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2010, and then later ported to iOS.[1] The game is the second installment of the Mass Effect series and a sequel to Mass Effect.

The player assumes control of Commander Shepard (Mark Meer or Jennifer Hale), an elite human soldier who must stop a rogue agent from carrying out a deadly plan that threatens all life in the galaxy.[2] Like its predecessor, Mass Effect 2 offers a choice-based gameplay style where players can complete missions at their own pace. New features include an upgradeable personal spaceship called Normandy SR2 (which serves as Shepard’s primary base), improved vehicle gameplay with additional vehicles like Mako or Hammerhead hovercrafts, new weapons such as assault rifles with burst fire mode etc., more diverse enemies such as husks (zombies) who do not die easily unless decapitated first before finishing them off with gunfire/melee attacks etc., improvements made on squadmates’ artificial intelligence so they’re more useful during combat situations than they were before,[3] biotic powers being upgraded so users could lift heavier objects like cars if needed during battle sequences too (which was only possible before using this skill).

Dragon Age Origins

Dragon Age Origins is a role-playing video game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. The game is set in the fictional land of Ferelden during the Fifth Blight, with the player character being hailed as the Champion of Kirkwall. The story begins when an ancient artifact called “The Urn of Sacred Ashes” is stolen by Cultists who plan to use its power to resurrect an ancient dragon-god that will destroy all life.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is a role-playing game developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by LucasArts. It was released for Xbox on December 8, 2004 in North America, for Microsoft Windows on February 8, 2005 in Europe and Australia, and for Mac OS X on January 22nd 2006. A mobile port was released for iOS devices on October 16th 2012 which included both this game as well as its predecessor Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic I: The Sith Lords (KOTOR 1).

The sequel takes place five years after its predecessor with players assuming control over Exile who goes on a quest to find out why they were exiled from their home planet while trying to stop Darth Nihilus from destroying all life forms within reach of his power while also trying to find out what happened during those missing five years since KOTOR 1 ended with Darth Sion being defeated but not killed yet so he could still be alive somewhere in exile’s future timeline since technically speaking there isn’t any such thing as death only eternal suffering so technically speaking he should still be around somewhere right now too…
