5 Reasons Why Command & Conquer: Remastered is a Must-Play Game for Strategy Fans
Introduction
I don’t know about you, but I’ve always been drawn to real-time strategy games. My first experience with the genre came when I was five years old, playing StarCraft in my dad’s office after school. Since then, RTS titles have been a big part of my life—and that’s why I’m so hyped for Command & Conquer: Remastered. The game offers an excellent combination of sci-fi action and strategic gameplay that no other game can match. Here are just five reasons why it’s worth checking out:
The Command & Conquer series is one of the most beloved real-time strategy game series ever.
The first C&C game was released in 1995 and since then, it has had a total of 13 games with over 40 million copies sold worldwide.
The latest entry in this long-running franchise is Command & Conquer: Remastered which brings back some familiar faces from past titles including Kane (who was previously voiced by actor John Rhys-Davies), GDI commander James Solomon and NOD leader Tanya Adams along with many other characters from previous installments like Red Alert 2 and Generals Zero Hour as well as having remastered graphics for all levels so you can see them in their best light yet!
There’s more than just remastered visuals.
The game also has a brand new multiplayer mode that’s exclusive to the Remastered edition. It’s a 4v4 skirmish mode, where players can choose between factions and then battle for supremacy in one of several different battlefields.
The campaign is also completely remastered with new voice acting, music and cutscenes; it includes three campaigns from Tiberian Dawn (the original Command & Conquer), Red Alert 1 and 2 that tell the story of how Kane became the supreme leader of Nod after betraying his mentor Joseph Stalin – as well as showing how he was able to use psychic powers to control minds worldwide!
Command & Conquer: Remastered is an excellent RTS experience.
Whether you’re a fan of RTS games or new to the genre, Command & Conquer: Remastered is an excellent place to start. The game is fun and challenging, with many options for playing on your own or with friends. While it does have some flaws–such as some bugs and glitches–there’s no denying that this is one of the best RTS games available today.
If you don’t already own Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn, we highly recommend picking up both titles together in The Ultimate Collection bundle!
It’s a blast to play with your friends.
Playing with friends is a blast. You can play the campaign together, and you can even play against each other in skirmish mode. If you’re feeling competitive, there’s nothing like going head-to-head against your buddy over who gets to be Commander of the Global Defense Initiative or Brotherhood of Nod.
The campaign is lengthy and challenging, but also fun.
The first thing you’ll notice about the campaign is that it’s not too long for its own good. It takes about 10 hours to complete on normal difficulty, but unlike many other RTS games that have recently been released (such as Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight), it doesn’t feel like they padded out their gameplay time by simply repeating levels over and over again with different goals or objectives. Each mission feels unique in its own way–from the story-driven missions that introduce new characters/units into play to the more traditional base building ones where you get to experiment with different strategies as you progress through each battle against your enemy AI opponent(s).
The second thing I want to talk about here are all those little things I mentioned earlier: how well everything works together within each individual level–from graphics down through audio effects & music tracks–and how those elements come together so seamlessly under one roof thanks largely due to excellent voice acting performances from both veterans like Michael Bell (voicing Kane) alongside newer talent like Jennifer Hale (voicing General Solomon).
If you love strategy games, Command & Conquer: Remastered should definitely be on your radar!
If you love strategy games and want a deep, rewarding experience that will keep you coming back for more, then Command & Conquer: Remastered is definitely worth checking out. The game offers an engaging campaign with plenty of challenges to overcome, as well as an exciting multiplayer mode that’s great fun to play with friends or strangers online. There are also some extra features like daily challenges and leaderboards so that players can compete against each other even when they’re not playing together in person!
Conclusion
If you’re looking for an RTS experience that’s both nostalgic and new, Command & Conquer: Remastered is the game for you. It combines the classic gameplay of its predecessors with updated visuals and audio, as well as some new features like online multiplayer support. The campaign is lengthy and challenging but also fun; there are plenty of different units to use on each side in order to achieve victory over your opponent(s). And best yet: all this comes at a great price!
